Our gorgeous Falcon (pictured below on the left) won his Canadian Championship in 1998. Shortly after, we got our first Show female from Peter and Vivienne Machen of Gipsy Kennels. Gipsy’s Clear Blue Sky (Skylar) is pictured below on the right. What an incredible time we had bringing her not only in as a Champion in Canada with Group wins but also in the USA to her Championship making her - Cdn/Am Ch. Gipsy Clear Blue Sky.

Silkroad Kennels is now retiring this breed and will continue to love and cherish the ones we have.

Still with the “Show bug” eating away at us, we decided to breed Skylar but was unsuccessful with several attempts until we came across a wonderful opportunity. Reggie Nesbit, Phyllis Roe and Kathy Williams arranged to take Skylar and have her bred to their Ch Bombey's Valient Tiger (Tiger) which was successful! Skylar produced a lovely litter of 7!
