I had the wonderful opportunity to get back into the Irish Setter breed in 2002 when Mary Klinck of Orchard Farm Kennels arranged that we co-own a lovely female from her last litter. We’ve had many “field” Irish Setters in the past but never a “show” quality one, so still bitten by the show bug, Mike and I showed Sienna, and accomplished her to title: Can. Ch. Orchard Farm MVP for Silkroad. This lovely girl was bred to Jordan, Am. Ch Orchard Farm Mak’n Magic and gave us 6 beautiful puppies. We’re so thrilled to have been able to keep 2 exceptional pups that will be on the “show” scene starting the new year. It’s said that the Irish Setter is one of the most glamorous of all modern breeds, Sienna and Jordan are fine examples of that and also by producing the beauties that they did. We’d like to thank you again Mary for bringing the “red heads” back into our lives with such grace and style. We’re looking forward to a future of holding Orchard Farm Kennels strong and alive.
